Have 92 Ford Explorer need to know location of 4wd fuse ours keeps going out cannot locate to replace.?

Based on what you have said, your looking for the wrong solution. A fuse can only go out once. It either works or it doesn't work. If the problem keeps coming and going it is not the fuse. More likely it is the 4WD actuator in the Transfer Case that is the source of your problem.

usually under the hood, should say FUSE BOX, but can be by dashboard, or around there, by the door or under the steering wheel

if your fuse keeps going out it must have electrical problems too high or low. well is it brown? if brown then its short circuit.

did you change stereo or radio system? check that
