stick with the saline drops and nose syringe. Then apply some vicks INFANT rub to his chest when it is stuffy. as far as medicine there isn't much that works that you can give at that age

give him a vapor bath and drop a couple drops of saline in his nose and use the snot sucker thing to suck it out if you want to stay away from over-the-counter meds. Or you can also try Pediacare nasal decon but be careful with dosage because he is so little.

A vapor bath they sell them at the baby isle at walmart , walgreens etc . And use a wall vaporizer like sudafed waterless vaporizer. They sell them at walgreens and I recommend you buy the adult one cause the children's one doesn't work as well. Some Vicks on the chest. And of course take the baby to the doctor.

I wouldn't give a four month old anything, put saline drops in his nose and suction it. Also get a vaporiser.

Use a bulb suction thing like they give you in the hospital. They have them at walgreens. Better not to medicate him without talking to a doctor. He could have a bad reaction.

You need to consult with your Dr before giving an infant medication...best thing is a humidifier made by vicks..helps them breathe better...or steam up the bathroom and sit there with him to help him breathe

Under 6 months, always ask your doctor. I love the vapor plug ins for my toddler. They clear her right up.
