St. Patrick IS THE ORIGIN OF THE "LUCK OF THE IRISH". (He was a kidnapped Brit who was enslaved and found God on the hills herding sheep as a slave. He escaped. Became a Bishop and returned to bring the faith to the Pagan Irish who believed in the Druids.)
He received inspiration from GOD to use the three leaf clover called a Shamrock to explain the Trinity to his flocks who were the descendants of the Celts and the Viking invaders. They
believed in the ancient druid's religion of magic and many gods of nature.
That there occurs four leaf clovers was explained that they were the result of God's melting the druids beliefs with the trinity of the Christian's beliefs.
Irish soldiers conscripted into the British army began wearing the shamrock on their uniforms to bring them protection and avoid being killed in battle. (Because they were blessed and used by St. Patrick they believed they were on God's side and protected by God.)
This is known as "wearing the Green".
Now the Irish are descendants of great fighters and invaders: the Celts and Vikings. They truly seem to be lucky because they are good at what they do and fewer get killed because of their natural fighting skills. "The Luck of the Irish"
Is all that true? Ask any Irishman, I'm married to one, he'll tell ye! He's one lucky man! ;-)

sure sure sure think of of it like this, whilst the Irish first got here to this u . s . a . (u . s .) thay have been the poorest human beings interior the country much extra so then slaves interior some generations thay have been a number of the richest. incredibly fortunate! The saying "good fortune of the Irish" got here from the reality that Irish throw accessible historic previous have been mercenaries, (soldier for hire) and terrific at it. they have fought for france, most of the Germanic kingdoms the yank creative on the two sides, the yank civil conflict on the two sides, for the period of international conflict 2 thay did not enter the conflict as a rustic however the human beings fought with the french distant places legends the Australian military and a super sort of others Now what gave them "the coolest fortune of the Irish" replace into that thay would make it returned to camp, stay on the conflict, stay to combat yet another day. Even for the period of WW2 extra individuals of Irish good gained medals for heroism than the different group of people. Now in case you asked every person of the yank generals why the Irish are so embellished, why thay are this variety of fulfillment in conflict, thay does not say that thay are good or brave or skillful, thay would say comparable to many others have stated in the previous them throughout the time of historic previous "thay are in basic terms extremely fortunate"

The saying 'Luck of the Irish' refers to the fact that the Irish people have come through such overwhelming adversity and have come out on top and kicking!
It must be luck and true perseverance.
