I working towards lead guitar! I would take lessons and SCALES ARE IMPORTANT know your scales and you will fly! Also learn some theory! Learn what a bend, hammer-on,pull-off ect is...

well everyone says i can rock out what i did was teach myself. buy the book with the level you are at because than you can work at your own pace i tried lessons and they wernt really working out because they did not teach me fast enough
