A Hispanic is a person that speaks Spanish. It is a language designation rather than a racial one. It includes negroids, Caucasoids and mongoloids (those are actual racial designations) as well as mixed race mongrels. Most all of the invaders from the South are mestizo (part Caucasoid and part mongoloid - wrongly called "Indians" or "Native Americans") People are very confused about race and that is by design from all the mis-information they get in school and from the media. People also confuse geographical and nationality designations with race. For example in the Jewnited States most of those that call themselves black or African American are actually mulatto's (part Caucasoid and part *******) with a smaller percentage being negroids. An African American is actually a person from anywhere in the continent of Africa (not just sub-Sahara black Africa) who moves here and becomes a citizen. So A White person from South Africa that moves here and becomes a citizen is a true African American.

In the United States, anyone from a predominatly Spanish speaking country is labelled a Hispanic, so in that sense they are Hispanic.
But in Latin America, Indians are seen as a separate group. In Guatemala, there are two main social/racial categories. Ladinos (Spelled with a D not a T), who speak Spanish and come from all sorts of backgrouns, and the Maya. Each group is about half of the population, but the Ladinos have almost all the economic and political power.
