If one speaks of something often enough, others become believers. The liberal Democrat politicians, liberal media, and the the Hollywood liberals deserve credit for the successful application of this tactic. They have convinced millions that the war in Iraq is wrong and it is a war we cannot win.
Do not be fooled, the Democrats who demand leaving Iraq before victory do not fear losing, they fear winning under the leadership of President Bush. The intense hatred and ensuing relentless attacks on the president stem from the fact that he won the presidency over Al Gore. They lost the most meaningful thing to them - power. If the Democrats believe in liberty for 300 million Americans, it's not evident in their lack of concern for literally millions of babies who lose their lives in the womb. Factually, they support abortion with our tax dollars. If the liberals loved America and the American way of life, they would not want to bury the Holy Bible, they would not want to rewrite the Constitution of the United States.
The late Saddam Hussein harbored and trained terrorists. Was it not terrorists who killed 3,000 Americans and reduced to rubble the twin towers in New York? This attack was the epitome of resolve. It was cleverly executed and the magnitude of success was frightening. Does anyone really believe this could not happen again?
The Democrats are saying the war on terror is costing too many lives and too much money. Ask yourself: What price is too much to pay for freedom?

Saddam Hussein had nothing to do with 9/11 and Iraq is not now, nor has it ever been a threat to American freedom.
Your question is prefaced on a bunch of propagandist nonsense.

Anyone who knows freedom would never say any price is too high.
To the poster above...I have been to Iraq and have been alerted to go back. I've seen the way Iraqi's were forced to live. I know the brutal force that Saddam ruled with. I have no doubt in my mind that he had the technology if not the resources for chemical warfare. Iraq was a safe harbor for terrorism. We are doing the right thing.
I hate to hear people sling around the word hypocrite, especialyl liberals on the war. Your "money where your mouth is moment" will never come. We won;t have the opportunity to call you a hypocrite as you call for the military when a terrorist is burning down your neighborhood, kicking down your door, murdering your family. No you will never have to reside to your idea of diplomacy in the face of real evil. You will never see that day because of troops like myself and becasue of the support we get. So you can comfortably call supporters hypocrites if they do not join.
Me, I put my money where my mouth is everytime I lace up combat boots. From where I stand, the non military supporters are not hypocrites - they are allies, they are a reminder of what we fight for. Sadley enough thos ewho oppose with such great conviction what they know so little about - those people are also a reminder of what I fight to protect: Freedom.
Freedom will always be a bargain, no matter the price

the price where it could jeopardize our own freedom... money doesn't grow on trees... have you seen our debt... do you know what excessive debt does?
each person and country... needs to fight for their own freedom...
and why do Republicans stop at Iraq? half the world isn't free? you say there is no price too high... then why weren't you doing this everywhere pre-911?
the simple fact is... you hid behind 9-11 to free one country that you had a beef with... you don't care about any other dictators and Republicans never have, since Reagan supported Saddam in the 80s... and supported many since... you think Saudi is any better? or Pakistan?
and Iraq had nothing to do with 9-11... 9-11 report said so, and even Bush has said so... how about we go after the guys that did that? or do you want to go after every terrorist in the world? into South America? Africa? tons of terrorists there too against their native government? there are many different terrorist groups... and if you don't know who you're fighting... you may as well not be fighting...
you have no real cited fact, and the best you can do is appeal to everyone's emotions with ideas of "freedom" and mentions of 9-11... and of course, mentions of the Bible and abortion... this is tired and cliche and the same song you've been singing for 5 years...
what have Republcians done about Abortion with a majority? why didn't they stop it?

Why don't you go sign up NOW and go fight in Iraq if you think its such a good idea? Seriously, if you believe in it, go fight it. Now. No excuses. Or are you a hypocrite?
Please be aware, Iraq had NOTHING to do with 9-11. Saddam Hussein was a mean s.o.b. but he hated Al Qaeda and actively suppressed it. He was a counterweight to Iran which also hates our guts big time. So as bad as he was, he was better than the present situation. Who did do 9-11 was our "friends" the Saudis, the Sunnis. Those were the terrorists who thought up the plot and flew the planes. Not Iraqis. Not one of them.
The price for freedom is to pay attention and not get conned by con artists like bush. Thank you for your question, hope to see you at a recruiting office soon!

I love your question, your enlightened statements and completely agree with you.
THANK GOD I found at least a few people who understand that the Nancy Pelosi, Hillary Clinton, John Kerry, Al Gore, John Murtha and their ilk's --- backwards approach to our nations security and literal survival must be enforced at a great cost.
There is NO price too high to pay for freedom...funny...they dont want to fight for freedom, however, they will fight tooth and nail for the freedom for gay/lesbian couples to have the same rights as straight traditional married couples which should not even be a political fight...I dont buy into the "born gay" BS, a theory that cannot be proven because it is not so. Liberals will rejoice that women have the right to the freedom to slaughter their unborn children by now over 44 MILLION babies and defend that freedom at any cost, that is for money abortion is very profitable, one abortionists who found Christ and literally walked away from the multiple clinics he owned and 11 years of profiting from the blood of unborn babies, claims he performed over 250,000 abortions and it was absolutely all about the money, that he was happy to fund campaigns for hard Pro Choice candidates and that "celebrities" treated him like royalty...Hollywood=Liberals=Immoral jackasses running our country, the media, newspapers, public schools.....blah.
Costing too many lives and money? What the Hell would they freakin know about that? Perhaps they need to spend a little less time licking the crusty psychotic bungholes of Sean Penn, Cindy Sheehan, Al Sharpton and etc.
I appoligize I am tired and on a rant today.

Firstly, freedom means different things to different people. It is a cultural construct - Arabic-Islamic states, for example, have a very different idea of what political freedom is from Westerners. Traditionally (and this is my subject of graduate study!) freedom in Arabic thought means the freedom to live a godly life - it does not mean the same things it may mean to a modern secular American.
Secondly, of course 'freedom' (however you interpret that) is a good, but there are other and greater goods - peace, for example. What use is political freedom if you lack food, shelter, peace,a nd economic security? The liberal claim that freedom is everything is fine for inhabitants of wealthy, peaceful, and prosperous nations, but other people may - just *may* - have other priorities. And in their place, so might you.

Well you certainly have the right idea about there being "tactics" but the wrong party. Right-wing cultism has become increasingly alarming and is well on its way to dividing this country and severely weakening it. Speak for yourself about "burying the bible"--I have never objected to religion--I just don't want it forced on me. Right wingers are fashioning yet more "I'm being victimized" propaganda, crying that liberals are trying to remove God from everything, even our vocabulary. How stupid!
I don't want ANYONE to change the Constitution! Not even you. STAY AWAY.

Great question its finally good to know there is a conservative on this site. As you will find liberals cannot answer this question like many other questions people ask them. Liberals on yahoo answers will either not answer this question or instead will spew out lies. Face it you can never pay a too high price for freedom. I would rather die than live under islamic law in their global empire that terrorists want to set up.
