just a small correction to your question. There are 3 clubs owned by the usa in the premiership. Aston Villa being the third. J Lerner bought the club recently. He also owns one of the American style football clubs.
It doesn't bother me if he brings success to the club, if he doesn't then British fans being fickle they would soon start to voice their dissent.

It's 3 clubs. As long as we don't have to see the nonsense that goes on in what passes for American sport,ie cheerleaders and what have you.Hopefully you wont want to start trying to change the rules either so we can have 20 odd goals in a game.

Obviously there's nothing worth investing in over there in the USA.
I agree with Slashdog. As long as they let us concentrate on the beautiful game, it's fine. Just don't try to include dodgy singers at half time, spotty teenage cheer-leaders and over-zealous PAs. American sport must be so dull if you need all that to liven it up!

I think this has is nothing to do with the country but business which is why no russian has ever come up with this kind of question just because both Chelsea and Portmouth are owned by Russians.
Thanx!

Better than Lithuanians - but it is a worrying trend that British clubs are being taken over by foreign investors.

It's cool knowing that US cant play football at all and have very limited skill and the only way they are associated with FAMOUS football clubs is with money. US is all about money!!!! IT makes me mad cause they really dont care about the sport, they only care about the $$$$.

Tickled pink, all those Yankee dollars spent here, and poor you that there obviously aren't any sporting teams that have the kudos and esteem that our clubs do, poor you.
