I always loved using 80s stuff....

Search for 80s rock remixes... they have alot of good beats and the judges will love it!
(We used Joan Jet I love rock and roll and we had 4 cross over heel stretches, each of them went up on the beat then the girls used their legs as guitars on the "i love rock and roll" part... it got HUGE points. )

Anything no one else is using. Nothing worse than hearing a song for the 5th time that day. *ugh* And ditto for overuse of sound effects.
I've taken my kids to compete for 3 years in a row and so far no one else has had our music.
