if i am buying a home in alabama do i have to work in that state for 30 days before escrow can close?

I see NO reason why!
To buy a home, you need not work at all (if you have the money to do so).

lol, Heinz is right for an example here in NM even illegal aliens that have a federal tax id can buy properties
