In the previews for the new Harry Potter movie Dumbledore says something that sounds like "encontra vertebra." Is this a made up "magic" thing or is it a real word? I could have sworn I'd heard it before but I'm not sure what it means or how it is even spelled...Help anyone?

Econtra is actually a foreign word, i dont know the meaning.
But the vertebra is a part of the spine, read below.

a bone of the spinal column, typically consisting of a stout body, a bony arch enclosing a hole for the spinal cord, and stubby projections that connect with adjacent bones.

It means "it finds vertebra" in Portuguese

Vertebra means any of the bones or cartilaginous segments forming the spinal column.
