NO!!! Get a Wii. At least you don't get fat with those. PS3 is a waste of money that drains you of energy, and sucks money from you. It's not backwards compatible, it costs WAY too much, it's games are bad, and all in all, it's not worth it. Get a Wii or 360.

first of all I own a PS3 and it is great it has no problems and it is backwords compatible and Sony is NOT having finacnial troubles i will never understand why people lie and hate systems they don't own i like the wii and the 360 and if i had the money i would buy them too but i decided on a PS3 and i love it don't let these people influence your decision with lies....the reason the PS3 cost an extra 200$ is because of the bluray player it comes with which by the way is the same price of the 360 HDdvd player online gaming is great i've not had a single problem with online gaming so don't believe people who tell you that xbox live is the best because xbox live charges you 50 a year and PS3 is free....The only reason you mite be disappointed if you bought a PS3 is that there are not many games out yet but of course that will change.....so I'm not trying to tell you to buy one b/c the 360 and wii are both good systems just not to believe the lies you hear from ppl about it having problems b/c i own one and there is not one problem

Good Question. Forget the Wii, The most terrible graphics. I have motion sickness and I get sick off of it. The 360 and Ps3, amazing consoles. Get the 360 for now and the Ps3 if you've got the money, cause better games are coming out at the end of the year.

No, it is NOT worth it. Frankly, its a waste of money. If you were gonna get another console, I would suggest the Wii or Xbox 360, but ANYTHING BUT the PS3.
And, nobody knows if Kingdom Hearts 3 is coming out for PS3. It could come out on the Wii for all you know. It would be more successfull if it did, but nobody knows yet.

HELLLLL NOOOOO!!!!!!! Its a peice of trash. Get a X-box 360, or even the Nintendo Wii. Ps3 dosent really have any good games on it. not worth it at all. It sold the least amount of consoles compared to the wii and xbox 360.

no it is not! Sony is having financial troubles and may go out of business. if it does you cant get games for it and you have a $600 piece of crap. get an xbox 360
