Your answer, that is the first Para is perfect. I did give you a thumbs up.
Your second para I must say is a generalisation however I must say that I have spent time here talking pro American to those British that also generalise.
I also think that my fellow countrymen that trash your country are totally out of order. Having said that I have read some nasty things said by your countrymen about us Brits.
