I don't know. But this can never happen unless a virus attacked. Restart your computer. See if it is still backwards. It it is, then that means you should get your anti-virus program to search for viruses, and delete any that are harming the computer. If it says no viruses, or it doesn't help, then the only way out is to either repair the system or reinstall the OS. Insert your operating system CD and then restart the computer. Boot from the disk. Wait for all of the files to load. Then press r to repair. If repairing doesn't help, then you must delete everything on the hard drive. Let the disk install windows again. The computer should work now.

Your problem has never happened in so many years to many people.

If you don't want to erase the hard drive, then contact the computer's manufacturer.

Good luck!

Sounds like you have rotation turned on, and it has turned upside down, not backwards, the Ctrl + Alt + up or down arrow. This may not actually turn it back for you, but if you restart after doing this process, it should come back for you. I am willing to be that you have an Nvidia video card, this is common practice with their 64 MB models.

Two ways to solve it.

One take a nap again, and hopefully the computer will reverse again and then it will be straight.

Two. Stand on your head when you do your homework.

i wonder if you mean upside down.. or turned 90 degrees.. on some dells i know this is caused by the graphics control panel they install... try hitting ctrl alt up on the keyboard... if this does not work... try booting up into safemode to narrow the problem down (right before windows starts tap the f8 key) good luck to you
