If this is serious and not another yahoo answers messing around question- yes, you can beastfeed your quintuplets.. not sure that you are serious as you got the name for the number of babies you're having wrong, but... you could. It's difficult, you'd literally be nursing all day. My mom had twins (my sisters) and nursed them at the same time. It's do-able. They were never formula fed.

its healthier to breastfeed, but wow 4?? my suggestion to you, so you dont get worn out is maybe get a breast pump and bottle feed when necessary... YOU GO GIRL! hats off for thinking like that... what a mom!!! im sure there is a way, babies are scheduel eaters, i really admire you for such the thought! i breast fed my 1st, and i never got my shirt buttoned... plus my nipples took a toll... id talk to the doctor and see whats best for mom... this i dont think is selfish, but theres alot more to do with 1 baby (and your talking 4!) diapers laundry and god for bid COLIC???!!!
i really feel you might be wiped out just caring for the little bundles.
however the choice is yours , i definetly would use a breast pump and bottles(if it was me) and this way no bundle is deprived of any nourishment or loving affection that comes with the ritual of feeding time... especially in those wee hours!
all the best to you and your new family!!!

Yes! If you breast Fed you're babies they should be about 75% heather than babies that eat [drink] forum la.Let two at a time breast feed than let the other two go to sleep and if they do not fall asleep than give them milk. then the next time let the other to be breast fed and the ones that just got breast Fed make them drink the milk so that all of them would be healthy.

Your body may have trouble keeping up with that many children (assuming that all goes well with the pregnancy and they are full term and ready to breastfeed) but it's worth trying. You may want to express milk if you can spare any so that someone can help with the feedings. You an also suplement in such a situation, in which case you would want to keep track of who got which feedings when.

Egads. Quints... wow, I say you should breast feed them but it might be very difficult. Pumping would probably be the best oe easiest way. I'm not sure whether or not you will be able to produce enough milk for all of them. You should try contacting your local La Leche League.

i applaud you that you want to try, but that is going to be a whole lota work if you really want them breastfeed, then try to pump whenever you have a chance. that way your hubby can help with feeding time and no little baby has to wait before they can eat too! best of luck to ya!
ps i know there are programs for women with multiple births, have you contacted huggies, and pampers and fisher price and such? i know they will help out with diapers and toys and such with coupons and free things!

Breastfeeding is a must, even for octoplets. seriously, if you must breastfeed all of them, remember one thing:
add 500 calories on your diet every time you breastfeed a child. so you have quintuplet.. hmm.. do the math.
