I only know 1 other woman who likes Final Fantasy, are there any more women out there who do? I played FF 7 for my 10th birthday and i've been hooked since! How did you get into the genre, and who is your fav char?
And doesnt Balthier (FF12) make you swoon whenever you see him? :P

Another girl here, and I have a friend who sort of counts as an FF player (she's got X-2). All the others I know are boys.
I got into the series around when X came out - I was impressed by the graphics at first, more than anything else. Heard lots of good things about 7, bought that as well.
Oh, and about Balthier? I know his voice from somewhere and it's been annoying the hell out of me since he first showed up because I can't think where I 've heard him before. :)

I never really thought about it, but I am a girl and I love Final Fantasy (the best RPG series!) Not that I am a rabid video game fanatic- Also my older sister plays the series as well and I have had at least two friends (who are girls) that played as well.
However, i cant think of any i know right now. The reason being more because none of my friends play video games rather then not liking final fantasy.

I got my sis to play the game she finished Final Fantasy 7 then gave up on them as they took too much of her time. As I recall her fave was Cloud, not very original I know but no point in lying about it is there.
And get a boyfriend and stop fantasising about bits of data if my girlfriend liked video games I'd marry her!!! I don't think you'll be single for long as every guys dream is to be able to play games with their girl these days. Especially one that plays Final Fantasy!

I don't play Final Fantasy but I do play World of Warcraft so I know what you mean about there being no other females. I too only know one other female that plays rp games

I didn't know that any female has a lack of a life to play such a 3rd rate game, guess there's a chance for noobs to reproduce after all, once a way to do it over the internet has been found.

my best mate (who happens to be a girl) loves the FF series we just started playing XII
now I'm hooked?
could not bear playing it before because of the idea that you could not evade an incoming attack from the foe in FF XII you can flee

I love Final Fantasy, and have since FF6. My fave character is Balthier, too. He's so suave and debonair. . .and that accent, mmm-mmm!
