taking omega 3 is supposed to help.. it depends what you want to remember and what helps you remember things otherwise. if you're quite visual try putting things in a big picture with lots of colours, that sort of thing.

if it's a shopping list you can walk round your house putting things in different places (in your head). like if you want to remember butter imagine it spread all over your hallway and slipping and sliding as you walk on it.

Go over the stuff you want to remember 4-6 hours after you covered it initially. This gives your brain time to process, and the refresher kind of makes it more permanent. I have heard this from a number of different sources.

i find linking things is good. like say you want to remember to post a letter. i think of sumthing i do every morning - say brushing my teeth - and imagine myself brushing my teeth and then thinkin of posting the letter. then the next morning wen im brushing my teeth its like a trigger and ill remember to do it. and say you hav to remeber a few things like shopping, dentist and cafe to meet friend. link them like like imagine shopping bags hitting the dentist and then the dentist sitting with your friend for coffee. then you remember all three things. i dunno its weird but thats how i sometimes remember important things
