flowers, dinner, night out with the girls complete with limo (check local clubs, some offer free limo for ladies night) jewelry, gift cert for massage/spa. something she wants but would never buy for herself, romantic night at hotel with rose petals on the bed chocolate strawberries and champagne, extra points if the room has private jaccuzzi.

First A handmade card that she knows the effort you put in it. Write a poem and how much you love her. Put the top ten reasons why you are happy she was born. Buy some massage oils and you give her a nice romantic massage. Send her flowers when she's not expecting them. Maybe a nice charm necklace or bracelet inscribe with a message of love. Find her favorite movie rent it and watch it while eating a romantic dinner of even snack that you prepared for her. Really just pamper her and of course a gift cause lets be real everyone likes a gift on the birthday. It doesn't have to be expensive just thoughtful and from the heart. And if the money situation is ok you could go with her to a bed and breakfast have a romantic weekend. Hope you decide well good luck! Remember a girl doesn't turn 26 everyday.

I'm gonna tell you something to give her that you could afford, unlike limos and spas and crap. You should buy some oils from bath & body workz (you can neva go wrong with that) and massage her whole body and massage her scalp(that feels so good) Put candles around the house and give her cute ballons... make your house look as much like a resturant that you can and cook her something!

trip/vacation overnight for both of you.. or you could start a day with breakfast in bed and fetch her at the office (or if it's her rest day then treat her to a beauty parlor-manicure/pedicure/haircut/hot oil) and surprise her with a dozen of roses and take her to a dinner located overlooking the city then ask a friend to prepare a tub with warm water with full of rose petals so that once you will be at home.. she will not forget that day that you pampered her -- this is so personalized...

I got a hotel room with a hot tub got so take out and her favorite drink and we had a great night. We now do that when ever we get a chance.

Flowers are ALWAYS a good gift.......a gift certificate for a massage, a romantic dinner somewhere new, any kind of jewelry.......women are EASY to shop for, it's the men I have trouble buying for!!!

If she is into the girly stuff, give her a certificate to a day salon. If not, give her somethng that you know will turn her on, flowers, clothes, card, candy?

Gift certificate to a local spa for a massage, nails, etc. is always nice. I think even the non-girly girls like those.... if you want to be REALLY nice, get one for her and one for her best friend.
