Shes my best friend and I go to her house all the time. Its just I just dont really feel like it today. I already told her that I cant because my parents wont let me. She asked me why, like always, so I told her its because my parents are going to be gone all week and need me to do the house chores. (which is the truth) Well she asked how long it would take (and im kinda starting to feel bad for not wanting to be over.) so i tell her id be done in a couple of hours.
So now shes coming to pick me up at 7pm (2 hrs from now if your in central time zone). I dont know what to tell her! I mean im afraid if I tell her anything else she'll know I dont want to go and that im lieing and she'll think im a jerk.

ok if i told her this do you think shed know that im lieing just so i wont have to get my lazy butt out of the house?:
#1 alright. id tell her about 6.45 and id tell her that i just woke up and i havnt even started on all the stuff i have to do. (lol its a start! it would work i think)
#2. id tell her that my parents are going to be home early tonight and were going out to eat. (ohhhh that might work. i think ill do that but im still open for suggestions.)
and i know it sounds like im being a jerk for all of this but dang she can be a real jerk too especially when i go to her house! thats y i dont want to go. i mean shes my best friend but you know how it is. u cant stand them then the next minute ur friends again

You could either just go and try and have a good time
or
you can tell her that you have studying to do or that you need some alone time for the evening.
or
you can say that you're not feeling that well and you just want to sleep or something..

Try to be honest with her and tell her you don't feel like going out tonight and you just need some time to yourself. I'm sure she'll understand everybody needs their alone time and space.

ooo. Looks, like you got yourself in a pickle there.
Well, b4 she comes over call her and tell her that you just wanna stay home today. Maybe tomorrow.
And if she asks if she can come over after you're done with your chores then just say, "I'm really truly sorry but I don't feel like having anyone over today."
That is IF you don't want anyone over.

You can just say that your busy with studying or tell her that you need to go some where.
