I was going to buy one, but decided against it. No one I know has one, and the manistream magazines are calling the system a big flop. What do you think?

I own one and couldn't be happeir and please don't believe JUSTIN B he bashes the ps3 whenever he can i just wish i could meet that kid in real life....but yes the system is great i'm not saying its better than the wii or the 360 but it is def. worth the money b/c it comes with the bluray player which is amazing on my HDtv. As far as the mags go i guess they base their info of how many have been sold and not alot of people have them yet but give it alittle time and the ps3 will be up there with the 360 and wii

DON'T GET ONE! Get a Wii. The Wii's so much cheaper, i think it's more fun in ways, and PS3 is huge, the Wii's small, Wii's game's are 50$ on new release instead of 60$...And Wii has some better games. Zelda is one of the best games I've ever played, Red Steel is pretty fun, and Super Smash Brothers is gonna be so much fun... Either a Wii, or an Xbox 360. 'Casue the 360 has good graphics, good price, and good games. I think the best thing about the PS3, is the graphics. The reason the PS3's a ton of money is because of the BlueRay disk reader...I wouldn't ever buy a BlueRay disk reading thing for 500$ when i could buy a DVD player for 50$.

I was too, in early January 2006, when I heard that the Wii was going to break away from traditional controllers, until I saw it with my own eyes. Now, I agree with you. Wii is the way to go, and if you are a Nintendo hater (which I most definitely am not), then 360 is the way to go. But either way, PS3 is NOT the way to go. I love my Wii, and I am so happy I didn't buy a PS3. I agree with 'Armed and Dangerous'. The PS3 did nothing original, and stole ideas that Nintendo and Microsoft came up with. It stole Nintendo's motion-sensing controller, and Microsoft's graphics (not to mention huge size). People got shot and even got killed in one instance because of the PS3. No one got hurt with the Wii's release. That shows what kind of crowd plays the PS3. A gunslinging, mafia, poor, crime-riddled lowlife who has nothing better to do. HA! And Sony can print that or quote me. Let's face it: Sony can make great movies, and great bluray players, but, when it comes to gaming, they STEAL. They LIE. They are not original, nor are they genuine.

Anyways, mags are not the way to go. I do not think this is a question you should ask strangers, but yourself is a good person to ask.
This is what you should ask yourself...
Is it nice looking?
Do l need the features (system/computer, files)?
Am I interested in the games?
Is it worth the money?
I am a very satisfied customer with the PS3, and l hope you are too!

dude the 360 is so much better. besides all playstation ever did was try and copy eveyone elses. controller turn on button (xbox), move ment senser on controller (nintendo). being the gayiest player ever (playstation). face it sony is great at other things but not the ps3
