Can't generalize it's different for each person.
If I liked a girl,i'd first test the waters,I personally would smile more,hold eye contact and up the physical contact,my main priority would be getting closer to her without scaring her away,then i'd make it more obvious once I knew she felt the same way,I'm quite shy so I wouldn't outright say it.
If I didn't like someone I'd do the opposite,avoid eye contact whenever possible,keep a stiff mask like appearance up and keep as much distance as possible.

a) The most obvious sign is that if the girl tries to make eye contact, he'll look away, perhaps turn a little red. In conversation, there will be noticably anxiousness in the way they act/speak.
b) A look of disinterest in they eyes, making of excuses to try and put distance between him and her, overly friendly (like they don't want to hurt your feels).

a. Smile and try to talk with her. Offering little helps. SUddenly has the same activities with her.
b. Always busy and too busy to even notice the girl although they're at the same room. Forget to return a call. And still busy....and busyyy.......
