My friend is on probation for mis appropiate handling of burning material. His probation officer his being an *** and will not allow him to live with me or have any contact with my children.( this is supposedly stemming from an incident 10 years ago when he was 17 ( sex with a minor?) he was sentenced to probation then it was revoked, because his current girlfriend (15 he was 17) got pregnant he was sent to jail then he married this girl for 10 years, they got divorced and now his probation officer is using it against him! How much can these people tell you what you can and can't do? I see no relevence in what he is on probation for and what she is using against him.....Are there any lawyers who will even touch this? is ther anything I or my friend can do ? I have tried talking to her, and telling her to talk to my kids and various other people and she refuses. What can I do?

He can request a complaint form.

He can speak to her supervisor.

He could asked to be transferred to another agent.

If he does move lets say with a parent relative or sibling to comply with the agents rules and it takes him to another location he will get another agent. The new agent may or may not place these same restrictions on him.

Also if he were to do what I believe is the right this and marry you. You are not setting a good example for your children. He has the right and now the reason to just up and leave. Lets say as you loose your looks, or if you got sick and needed him he may easily leave. The same applies if your married except he has thought it out and decided and committed and invested money in the fact he will not leave. He is not worth it if he won't commit.
You don't have to have a big expensive wedding but I hope you do.
A ring of commitment and marriage certificate as his commitment should cost under $200. Your worth it. Your children our worth it. The saving by having a family insurance plan should cover that in 1 year.

I don't agree with putting teenage sexual activity grouped with pedophiles and rapist.

Realize that a complaint or speaking to the supervisor may anger the agent. It is my belief the department of corrections is trying to fill up all the newly built prisons.

When someone was sentenced to imprisonment, he lose his freedom. Under probation is almost the same as serving his jail sentence at home. A probation officer can go the easy way out and allow him to do whatever he want, but once he make a mistake, he will be sent to the prison straight. Remember, once he was sent to prison, which also meant one case lesser for the probation officer to follow up, thus he is doing all these out of his conscious.

I think you should give more respect for the probation officer.
