Have a decorate your room party & have every one bring a gift to decorate you room . no paint just things in the colors you like . Things to hang on your wall , set on your stands , throw on your bed . Maybe you & your parents could paint a few days before . Have Your parents get the big things like bedding & curtains & rugs .
Have the kids help you set things around your room .
then have a slumber party with your room designers so they can enjoy the fruits of their lobor .

Happy Birthday

it depends what you want to do...
for my cousin's sweet 16, she had a hollywood red carpet party. Her mom got cardboard stand ups from the movies and posters too. Everyone had to come dresses up as a celebrity. There were a strobe light in the front to be like flashing camera lights and then her mom took a pic of the people and then they had a contest too who can identify the most celebrities. It was so cute...Thing is, all my cousin's friends were Beyonce...LOL!

i had mono for my 16th birthday and was out of school for 2 months, so my best friends threw me a suprise party at my favorite restuarant once i was better. it was the nicest thing anyone had done even if it was a month and a half late. we all ended up going back to my house and watched movies and everyone slept over. it was simple but meant alot.

i have always loved a good costume party... where you dress up like your favorite actor, cartoon, super hero.... etc. its fun and it is just really cool to see how your friends dress up... it also breaks the ice a little bit and makes for fun conversation later. also, going to a restaurant dressed all wierd is really fun. ok well i hope i helped!

Have you ever wanted to go to a foreign country? Try that. Or have a movie/pizza/game night. It'd be fun.
