Well, I'd like to see it more intelligently moderated, as regards nuisance postings, etc., but it's obvious that Yahoo has created a monster it cannot effectively control. The abuse team is woefully understaffed to handle the volume of postings. I probably respond to a very small percentage of "questions."

Nobody should be allowed to report abuse on anyone. Get rid of the stupid stars on the questions so that we can give a thumbs up or a thumbs down on whatever question we want.

It would be cool to say bad words and to meet people while ur at it get more points quicker and faster and also make like a Y! Answers chat room it`d be real cool

16+ only topics. (I don't want the legal risks of giving sex or dating advice to 13 year olds.)
The ability to filter your own answers.
Have advanced search work properly.
Be able to advance search by subcategory.
View daily stats (questions asked that day, answers given that day, total votes.)
Some sort of ranking of questions so people can filter out low ones if they want.
The rest would be improvements to the API, but these won't make any sense to anyone here.

make the reporting of abuse show who reported you.. of coarse one can always go back with the offensive answer typed in search and whalla you have the culprit in your fangs.
Have a adult only section and no reporting.

Get rid of the homework help category and ban "am I pregnant" questions.

for the violations to really be investigated.. I'm tired of getting violations for no reason. or maybe for all the ppl who report you be shown
