He's not in Melo's shadow,Iverson is still scoring but now he does have some help and his assist are up.He's still a star in this league.Back in Philly he had to do it all thats why his points were so high, but Iverson can take over when ever he wants on Nuggets.

You are right, Iverson was averaging more when he was with the sixers, but was not winning, and didn't have a chance of going anywhere in the postseason.
Now, with the Nuggets, he is scoring less, but the team is preparing for a deep run in the playoffs.

I bet if you asked Iverson, if he would rather average 28, and have a championship run, or 33 and be sitting at home come playoff time, he would choose the 28 any day.

iverson should under no circumstances want to go back to the sixers.
1. the sixers suck, as much as he was able to dominate he has a better chance of becoming a post season threat with the nuggets.
2. stats arent everything, just because he was scoring more points as a sixer doesnt mean it was better for him.
3. he hasnt been ranked #1 in the nba for a long time and he probally never will be again.

The Sixers aquired 2 players from the Nuggets after trading Iverson...ya gotta face the fact that Iverson wanted to be traded.

Hm, I think you need some counseling. Iverson isn't going back to the Sixers. You don't just demand a trade because you feel like it. I'm sure he thought it over very hard before he demanded a trade. The only way Iverson would ever go back to the Sixers I think would be if his contract expired, and he wanted to retire as a Sixer.

When you go by stats, it means sh!t. C'mon man, the 76ers sucked post-2001 and are not contenders. The Nuggets are, and after their chemistry is learnt (since adding AI to a suspension-weakened and Carmelo-less Nuggets in the middle of the season), the Nuggets will be a top-tiered team.

the only reason why A.I. went to the Nuggets its becuase he knows he can get a ring with that team. He knew his team wasn't going to even get him close to a championship. The reason why he scored so much wit the sixers is beacuse he didnt have really good team mates, now that he does its more like he has to share them. This is more like Michael and Scottie or Kobe and Shaq.So dont even worry about it A.I. is doing good with the Nuggets.

It was not working in Philly, he still adjusting and can still be those kind of years. Iverson and Melo have the opportunity to be one of those famous tandems, you just gotta give it a little more time
