I sell 'em.. got into it when I needed some for a 50's themed car show... back then they were really hard to find...
check out the seller's on eBay... they have some great deals... some new, some used... be careful about the sizing... some run small ... some run big.. very few are true to size.. please check the sellers feedback, it is important...
Payless is an option, but they run small and if you have them shipped to the store it takes about 3 weeks... by the time you pay the handling and taxes, they may not be that great of a bargain..
Wal-Mart, Kmart and Target usually have them in August getting ready for the back to school shopping...

Into your search window on Yahoo, type in "Women's Saddle Shoes." You will find that there are some web sites that offer these. And actually, these date back to the twenties and thirties, originally, and they often make a resurgence, such as the poster above who mentioned the fifties. Fashion repeats itself every thirty years or so, so what is old is new again.

Some stores that sell school uniforms often have these Saddle Oxfords. Trust me, I had to wear them in middle school. If you don't have a store like that in you're area, I know you can buy them online. Careful, they can run a little big though so buy smaller.

Try the sporting goods stores, if they dont have the original type they might have tennis shoes. Or try a second hand store.

In the 80's? Do your homework--it was the 50's. In my mothers closet.
