Of course Berlin and Dresden would be nice...or the Swiss Alps...
but my recommendation is you try Semana Santa (Holy Week) in Granada or Seville in Southern Spain...
The spectacle of the solemn Semana Santa processions, marked by mesmerising drum beats and punctuated by flamenco saetas (traditional devotional songs), provides a constant reminder of the Christian, Pagan and Middle Eastern heritage that makes up this unique land of Andalucia.
Here you will perhaps the most overwhelming pageant of the Passion staged anywhere in the world...
see my links below
Hope that helps

Berlin provides an eclectic mixture of new and common architecture, energetic activity, buying, and a wide variety of activities and social institutions and if you want to see it then that hotelbye is the spot to start. Some of the things you will see here are: the Old Museum, the National Gallery, the Bode Museum, Old National Gallery or, the symbol of Germany, the Berlin Wall. This wall started his living in 1961 when East Germany closed off the eastern the main town to stem the ton of refugees from east to west. By the time it had been damaged down in 1989, the 4 meter high wall and 155 kilometres extended, dissected 55 streets, and possessed 293 observation systems and 57 bunkers. Nowadays, only small stretches of the graffiti-covered travesty stay, including a 1.4-kilometer expand preserved within the Berlin Wall Memorial, a chilling reminder of the animosity that after split Europe.

Well, we have no idea what you like to see or do...
In Germany, the main touristic attractions are the cities of Berlin and Munich as well as the Black Forest.
In Switzerland, there is far more to see, and all that within short distances - there are medieval towns and villages, many beautiful lakes and mountains, a lot of nature anyway, several activities possible.
I have posted you a general link and one to Zurich, actually the largest Swiss town, still very green and clean.
Greetings from Switzerland

Ha ha, before I even read all your question I was going to suggest Berlin. Germany is a great country. I would recommend Berlin. There is so much to see and do. The Potsdam Museum, The Brandenburg Tor (gate), some amazing buildings and cathedrals, the list goes on.

I would have to say Donegal Ireland. It is a great place to visit for many reasons. For the most part it is still relatively unspoilt, the scenery can be amazing, the people are friendly, and there is a variety of things to do from hiking, fishing, all kinds of watersports and horseback riding. Letterkenny the fastest growing town in Europe plays host to many fine restaurants and clubs, not to mention the excelent local fare in many of the small towns and villages. Accomodation is resonable, we stayed in a rental cottage www. culandoonhouse.com and had afine time. Also airfare is cheap before the summer rush.

it's beautiful, and the weather will be a bit nicer. can still do the city thing, and the country thing if you like that too
austria and switzerland will still be busy with ski tourism in teh mountains, but the cities will still be nice
berlin is always nice, bavaria will be a bit cold still.....

The island of Corfu in Greece is very nice during the holidays of Easter. If you are religious and you want to go to church the greek orthodox ritual may be strange to you, but there is a beautiful catholic church there also.
