No. Becasue liberals don't match the demographic for talk radio. The demographic and psychographic profiles for talk radio translate more to educated professionals that show interest in government policy and current affairs.
The liberal profile translates more toward John Stewart, Howard Stern, and other pop culture. This explains the trend by democrat politicians to associate with hollywood and vice versa. It's good for business. This also explains how the mainstream media can easily lead liberal viewers through flashy headlines, sensationalism, and playing on emotion.
Be mad if you want. That's just how it is (in general).
Yes liberals, I know, you are the exception to the rule.
P.S. Sean Hannity is nothing to be jealous over. I tend to be conservative and he is really a joke.
Rush got where he is for a reason like or not. He knows people and politics. He is a smart guy with valid arguments. But, he is not for those who operate by emotion. His show is for the logical.

No, because Air America was a bad idea from a business standpoint, not from a political one. Conservitive radio hosts like Rush, have also had years to hone their craft, and the right-wing radio has been a snowball rolling downhill for almost two decades. Liberal radio, before Air America, was largely nonexistant, and it's only a matter of time before the opinions of the other 50% of this country are heard on the airwaves.

Ma'am-perhaps you could try something new--like independent thought. Most Americans are moderates. Apparently anyone who disagrees with you is a liberal. I have liberal views and some very conservative views. I look at every issue and make up my mind on THAT issue. I do not parrot any party line. I investigate the issue, research it and discuss it with friends of both parties. I don't know how liberals feel and neither do you. Most of us are of mixed political beliefs. I don't need a commentator or a politician telling me how to think. God gave us a brain. I use mine.

I don't think that jealous is the right word. They seem to think all things should be equal regardless of results, when it suits there agenda. They believe in income redistribution from those who succeed to those who don't. They believe that failed government programs should continue to be funded just as succesful ones. They even feel that terrorists should recieve the same rights as U.S. citizens. Therefore they can't understand why their agenda radio programs fail while consevative ones succeed.
I should mention that not all Democrats agree with all of the points that I mention, but as a party in general this is where their leadership is directing the party to go.

I can't imagine ever thinking that Rush, or Sean, or Glen or any of the rest, are anything to brag about, or to be jealous over!!!

Ah..jealous is not a word I would choose to explain my feelings about them. But, they are allowed to say want they want to say and they always were. So what's the problem?
There a lot of channels to choose from out there and I don't have to listen to them if I don't want to....and I don't!

Maybe so. I enjoy listening to all of the above and Laura Ingram. Maybe the problem they have is that they know these individuals are right! Most liberal attempts at talk radio have failed in one way or another, I think it's that whole gloom and doom thing they always have going.

Jealous? Hardly. You can keep all your hypocritical self-righteous pigs all you want. Being liberal means being tolerant and accepting of differences among us. The "conservatives" that you tout are just intolerance and ignorance in disguise. They are the true threat to democratic diversity. They are people who piss on the Constitution of the United States.

Geez, I hate to break it to you, but Air America is alive and well. You ought to tune in some time. You might actually learn something. Check out Tom Hartman or Randy Rhodes or Ed Shultz. You might find it refreshing to hear the truth.

Out of touch, you are. I am listening to Air America right now... does that mean that I don't exist, too? Questions like this give me heartburn.
