I mean really, it's fun in moderation but it seems some people must not have any jobs or ambition and spend their lives doing nothing else. Pathetic or not? Why or why not?
This is just an opinion, everyone is entitled to one. I'd just like to here the sides to it, and hopefully one of those I'am referring to answers.

But then how pathetic does it make you for taking the time to not only notice their points, but also gather a heartfelt opinion over the matter and then come here and post a "question" about it?

hundreds of thousands is rediculous, some people need to get a life. Those are the people who copy and paste thier answers from
wikipedia, not every answer needs to be 5 paragraphs to the best.

I see your point. I have a little over 2,000 points. Although, this is my second year answering questions. Some people gain 2,000 points in 2 months, maybe a little more. It is very ridiculous and unhealthy. It's kind of that person to be so willing to help people but many times the answers aren't helpfull at all.

anyone who is above level 5 in less than 3 months has not seen the light of day for a long time and probably have no interaction with humans other than the local take-aways delivering food.

100% agree. A lot of people have several accounts just to have more votes on ''best answer'' to their questions. It would seem to me, if you have to keep going to all your accounts to do all that it would take the fun away. Like you said it is fun in moderation, I don't care how long it takes me to get to the next level.

For me, it's fun. But I mean, I don't spend all day on here. Maybe some people don't have jobs. Or maybe they do it all day at their jobs ...
