Yes! do not use oil in the tanning bed, it will make you burn and peel, and off you tan will go. Use the tanning lotion that they sell in the tanning salon, you should get one with a triple bronzer, they work great and keep you skin conditioned.

Good Luck!

It's not that good for you. I know a girl who tanned with it and it made her break out in a huge rash! Why don't you get an actual tanning lotion, that will make you darker than ever and is really good moisture for your skin. Baby oil or any mineral oil will clog your pores and make you break out eventually. I tan every other day and use actual tanning lotion made for tanning beds, it's more money but you will get really dark!! Look for some with bronzers for an instant darker appearance, there are some that aren't that much money and it's defeniatly worth the money!!

It does help make you darker when you are tanning outside. I dont know about inside though. It probably works but I dont know because in most tanning beds you arent supposed to use baby oil because it is hard for them to get it off the bed. But if you have a personal tanning bed go ahead & try it! Good Luck :)

Do not use baby oil in a tanning bed for a couple of reasons, 1. it contains mineral oil and it clogs up your pores and doesn't allow you to tan as well, 2. it is very bad for the tanning beds it will yellow them and can cause them to crack and break. they are VERY costly to replace. Purchase a good tanning lotion from you salon the people there can help you choose one.

It will help you to burrrn! I've done it and I suffered for a week or so afterward! The best thing I've done to help try to speed up the tanning/burning process is use a moisterizer or lotion all over my body right before I get in the tanning bed because moist skin burns/tans quicker. Have you noticed that you might get more sun when you're swimming or in the water? Same concept. Be careful! :)

My opinion is that tanning beds are bad for you in the first place. But if you do choose to tan, baby oil can make you darker. It might make your skin irritated and if it gets in your hair then your hair will look really greasy for a couple days.

Yeah, it's bad...... you should stick to the products designed to react to the lights used in a tanning bed... using other oily products could cause a serious burn.... it's just not smart
