I have an ugly little fake tree made of twigs that my dad bought a crate-load of by accident. It has these purple fiber optic light in it that don't work nearly as cool as you'd think it would. When he found out what he bought, he threw it on the floor and stomped on it, sending wee fiber optic bits all over the place. I sit here and stare at it, as it inspires me to speak up whenever he's about to make a really bad business decision. We only have like 15,000 of them...

There's nothing in front of my desk but a wall, but the cats when they are on thecat tower is behind me ,and I can see the tv if I want to

well sometimes i will stare out the window, grab a writing utinsil and draw a bit, or sit there and think of all the problems and find a solution.
