I was shopping today and the Arm & Hammer Baking Soda was 3x the price of the generic! I got the generic but I've never bought generic baking soda before.

most generic items are the same as the favorite name brand, just under the store label
didn't you notice that the cheapy brand was recalled at the same time as Peter Pan? that's cuz Peter Pan makes the cheapy brand too.
Kroger bread is really my favorite brand Mrs. Bairds here in Texas markets. so, I usually go for the store label first.

Heinz ketchup, Miracle whip, Era laundry detergent, and Dawn dishwashing soap. I just buy twice as much when they're on sale.

I don't like mayonaise but when I do have to use it I will ONLY by Best Foods (that's Hellman's for you east coasters)

I never buy generic tissue... Kleenex or Puffs is all i ever buy..the generic is soooooooooooo thin..it takes so many just to blow your nose!...
