My husband put in plank wood flooring in our kitchen and I used the cleaners they sold right next to the flooring but now I can't get the residue off the floor and it looks awful!! Any ideas how I can get that shine back and get rid of the cloudy look that my kids leave feet prints in?? Pleeeaaase help!!

I guess I should say it is laminate wood flooring. Sorry!

Use a good wax stripper. You'll want to rinse it a couple times with clean mop water after you get the stripper up. You can then put down a good wax, made for wood floors. Put at least two light coats down, letting it dry between coats.

You'll need to buy a commercial wax stripper.... nothing else will work.

use a degreaser like greased lightning , you can get it at Lowes
