The reason why I think that the baby is not mine its because its a black baby. I'm a hispanic male and my girlfriend is white. She tells me that some of her familly and ancestors were African-americans....but I think that just some excuse...what should i do?

I guess waiting for marriage was not an option. You have the right to ask for a blood test if you are going to provide for this child and be with its mother. How that will affect your relationship with her I don't know. If she lied, it would reveal that and you would be upset to say the least. If she told the truth and it is your baby, then she'd me mad at you for having asked and not believed her. Either way, you need to be prepared for what comes your way and then accept it as a consequence. If you intend to marry this girl, which I think you ought to, because you love her, then love the child as well.

OK... gonna sound rude but I gotta say it... get a DNA test or shut up and raise the kid. IF she was unfaithful then you make a decision of helping her raise a child or just walking away. Why this has to be such a hard decision is beyond me. I'd much rather a man ask for a DNA test right out then to go on Yahoo Answers and ask for opions on one!

This really is a tricky one..if the baby has just been born your girlfriend will be very sensitive and you don't want to risk post natal depression...Hispanic babies can be very dark when they are born..if at a later date you still have doubts then I suppose a paternity test is the thing to do..

DNA testing is the only sure way to find the truth,if you truly doubt that the baby is yours, get the test done.

You have the right to request DNA testing on either baby or one/both of you and baby.

Look, it is possible for an ancestral gene to change your baby's skin color, but to be sure get a paternity test. If she doesn't agree to this then you've already got your answer.
