If you are talking about one of the booths in the middle of a mall, then no. To do body piercings, they need to have a license and piercing pagodas are unable to qualify for a license.

Here in California a nose piercing costs about $40.00.

Good luck!

If they do, you shouldn't go there. They use guns at those shops and there are a bunch of problems with that. One, because of the way the gun is made, it is almost impossible to clean it. Secondly, because of the high impact of the gun, it can shatter your cartilidge permanently. No fun. Lastly, a gun can get caught in your skin and it'll force the piercer (a non-professional, mind you) to yank on it until it releases your skin. Does that sound like fun?

Instead, you should go to a professional piercer (usually in conjunction with a tattoo parlour) and pay the $40 to get it done professionally. They'll use clean and sterile equipment, have training, and it will hurt a lot less.
