what is it? if you look at the picture you will see that it is a glass presentation ornament. the main body is gold plated. it has what i think is chinese writing on it. But, thats all i know. I got it in a second hand shop. I would like to know what it is, what it was for. Who it is presented to. Thanks. Your help will be appreciated.

Very pretty. I have a suspicion it may be a burial urn that's lost it's lid... it looks about the correct size. I hope I'm wrong!
