Audition for American Idol!!!!! Just kidding...
Hire a singing teacher or go to singing lessons. Watch musicals and Broadway shows. Practice singing those songs. Try singing the songs you like. The teacher will tell you what your good at and what your not. Some of it just requires raw talent. But I'm sure with practice you can become a better singer then you are now.
Practice singing in public. Start small by singing in front of your family and then build up to your friends and so on. Join a club or company that makes Broadway shows or something so you can practice your singing. Or if your school has a chorus or choir, join that. They will also help you with your voice and singing on key and stuff like that.
It also helps if you can take criticism well and work hard.

Focus on your breathing, use your diaphragm muscles and take deep chest breating, work on your tuning and try to focus on the vowels of your words, make them more lateral (up and down) rather than horezontal and nasty. If it is not too much, I would reccomend investing in private lessons if you are serious about singing, and if it is too much money then you may be able to get a scholarship of some kind, I would talk to the choir teacher at your school to get more information on private lessons. learn how to sing would be a good start. but also listen to what ppl tell u about ur voice. u may think that ur and awesome singer but the truth may be that u truely suck.

Sorry Annie d, but in my opinion you have to be born with that talent then get lessons so that you can make the most of it.

Just practice hard, and have someone do it with you so they can help you. Also maybe get some voice lessons. I have voice lessons.
