"The Reason"

My Life is vile
I hate it so
I'll wait awhile
And then I'll go.

Why wait at all?
Hope springs alive,
Good may befall
I yet may thrive

Please critique this poem for me.... because i have no idea what to say....thanx

This poem says how quick a person is to think that their life is terrible. It is human nature to think that you are really bad off, and jump to the worst of conclusions. That is what it means to me.

I hope this helps!!! =)

The person is considering suicide in the first verse. He hates life and can't go on. He decides to wait before taking his life but, in the first line of the second verse, he thinks he will kill himself at this moment. By the second line of the second verse, he has changed his mind and becomes hopeful that his life may change for the better.
