1988 - Ted Gregory Denver Broncos Nose Tackle out of Syracuse. never played a regular season game for the Broncos, and played a total of 3 in the NFL. That's gotta be up there.
1990 - Andre Ware to Detroit. 14 games played in the NFL.
1991 - Kelvin Pritchett - Dallas Cowboys. never played for them, and had a mediocre career with Detroit and a few other teams.
1992 - Desmond Howard - Washington Redskins. Average special teams player. Never realized his full potential at the next level.
1995 Rashaan Salaam, and Ki-Jana Carter. Need I say more?
1995 - Now that i've looked it over, almost the entire 1st round was crap. Very few exceptions.
1996 - Andre Johnson, OT from PSU. Drafted by Washington, never played for them, and only played 3 games total in the nfl.
1997 - Rae Carruth.
1997 - Yatil Green - Miami. 8 games in the nfl hardly constitutes a career.
1999 - Dimitrius Underwood - Minnesota. The hamster fell off the wheel before he even showed up to camp.
Ok, i have a few more, and I'm sick of thinking about this now.
Jamal Reynolds - GB
Charles Rogers - Detroit
David Terrell - CHI
Aaron Gibson - Detroit
Anyone drafter after these guys is still new enough that it's hard to classify them as a complete bust, other than my last one......
JOEY HARRINGTON!!!!
FIRE MILLEN!!!

Worst first round draft pick (not the player, but the circumstances) : When Bo Jackson announced he would not play for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers under any circumstances, who did the Bucs draft with the #1 overall pick? Bo Jackson. Essentially, they gave away their #1 pick, for which they were never compensated.

Heath Shuler,
was selected 3 overall in 94 draft by the skins. He held of training camp until he recevied a 7 year 19.25 million contract. His first pass in training camp was intercepted, his record in 3 seasons with the redskins was 4-15. He later went to the saints, broke his foot and ended his career.

robert s bosworth was not a first round draft pick he was taken in the supplemental draft and was injured and retired after a few years.... back to the question at hand.... tony mandrich was bad but a cat named Aundre Bruce was the first overall pick of the falcons and did nothing but coke untill he was given the axe or the raiders reaching into the first round to take Todd Marinovich who did little to nothing while at usc and even less for the raiders...

I'd say Leaf, if only because of the fact he not only stunk, but was a complete jerk as well. Others like Akili Smith and Tim Couch stunk, but they at least weren't jerks...Couch suffered injuries and playing on the Browns. Tony Mandarich...well, he did come back later in his career and play decently for the Colts at guard, he just comes up because the player selected ahead of him and the two behind him are/will be hall of famers(I'm pretty sure, at least...)
