Hi. I was researching running Vista and mp3rocket and having limited (actually no success) on running it. I actually PURCHASED this product NOT knowing that is still uses the guntella network the same as Limewire. The way the website appears there are no screenshots (at least any that were apparent) Aside from the fact that when purchased there was no notice saying that the software did not work with Vista. It listed XP... after purchasing and getting to run one time I did notice it was the EXACT same interface and apparently engine that limewire uses. Upon inevitable reboot alas it doesn't work. But Limewire however has actually run BETTER on Vista than it did on XP. Resource wise as well as speed wise. After discovering all this, I emailed their technical "support" (noted sarcastically) twice and haven't recieved a response. And then noticed after the fact that there is no telephone number. How brilliant. Don't know why I doubted Limewire. Any thoughts?

MP3Rocket is freely downloadable from here:

http://sourceforge.net/projects/mp3rocket

So if you've paid for it you've been scammed (you wouldn't be the first to pay someone for freely available P2P file-sharing software), which would explain the lack of response to your emails.

Chalk it up to experience and just remember in future that there is no P2P file-sharing software that actually cost money to my knowledge (the Pro version of LimeWire notwithstanding)so never pay for it in future.

Vista does not allow you to run or use P2P programs such as Limewire. Switch to using XP or switch to Linux instead.
