Good question. I went to www.keylessride.com, and found a locksmith close to me to program my chevy key fob. Hope this helps

You never say what car you have but the only car you will be able to re-program your self (despite what ever the websites say)is the mark 1 306. The later 306's can be re-programmed by your self but only the locking element. You would need to swap the transponder chip from your old plip to your new key to get round the immobiliser part of it.

i tried and couldnt find anywhere, cost me £115 for a new key including programming
