I am reluctant as what History do i do and psychology is seen as a soft subject but i really want to do16th History. SOS

I would go for the first option if you can bear it - my friend is super brainy but went for Oxford and got turned down...I think they do see psychology as a soft option unfortunately. So many people at my college do it and they don't have a clue about anything.

And I actually recommend 20th century History - I do it and it's actually really good.

Saying that, go with your heart - as long as you don't do anything totally not academic like PE I am sure you will be fine.

Good luck!

I would go with the second option. Psychology may be seen as a soft science but at A-level it's known for being one of the toughest subjects, and looks impressive on an admissions form.

I wouldn't think you need anything specific to do Geography at A-level, although obviously it would help if you have studied Geography already.
