I know how you feel. My grandma told me I was gonna grow up to be stocky like my dad...Ya, you don't tell girls stuff like that. It causes problems. You seem normal. Everyone is different. Don't let it get to you.

Psh. don't listen to your grandma. You just sound a bit heavier built. I am 5'2 and 91, but that's just me. If you do want to lose weight, I reccomend you go out and buy a DDR mat and game. Together they only cost around 30-40 dollars. One of the programs does a calorie counting, and inputs how many miles you've done. I go up to the 5 mile mark every day. That burns about 500 calories for me. I also like to snack on fruit smoothis or 100 calorie packs. I also make sure to do a little bit of weight lifting, pilates, yoga, and stretching everyday!

Are you getting married? Is that why you are trying to fit into your mom's dress?? Well, my advice, is that if you are happy with the way you are then that's all that matters. Don't let others pressure you into being someone that you don't want to be. There are weight charts all over the internet that will give you information and guidelines for how much you should weigh for your height. Check those out, but most importantly, just be healthy. Eat right and exercise because it makes you feel good. Not because someone else wants you to.

I am 5"3' and weigh 139lbs. My doctor says my weight is perfectly fine. I have no health problems and am active. I say, tell them to MIND THEIR OWN BUSINESS. You don't sound like you are built like your mom, and that happens a lot. Don't worry about them; you know you are okay by what your body tells you.

Well you didn't put your age, but if you do all those activities everyday and eat right, i'm guessing your wieght is muscle, not fat. Just ignor what people say about your weight.

Everyone's body is different! And everyone's opinion on the "right" size is different too. The important thing is that you are comfortable with your body. Don't let others make you feel bad about the way you look.

that's like majorly rude. at this time (**puberty**) adults SHOULD NOT be bothering you about your weight. if you don't feel fat, then you aren't (and if you do, you probably still aren't). check with your doctor if you're worried about it, but everyone is built differently and 5 lbs isn't even that much more. you sound like you think they're wrong, so i really wouldn't worry about it.

Don't worry about it sometimes older people say things without thinking about it, if you are really concerned talk with your Grandmother and tell her how you fill. I am sure she is like most grandmother's and will understand.

That is unreasonable for your grandma to say that. You should confront her and tell her that you don't need them to tell you whethear you are fat or not. They are just demoralizing you.
