Yes having a baby hurts, but go for a natural birth. You will spend less time recovering afterwards, and there will be less complications after a natural birth then there can be for a natural birth.
Don't go for a Caesarian JUST because you are scared of pain...I am a complete whimp when it comes to pain, but I honestly find childbirth more tolerable than toothache! It's not like any other pain you have ever experienced- it's a completely natural, productive pain, and it only lasts for a few hours out of your whole life compared to a lifetime of joy and rewards for your one day of pain.

I have given birth to 2 children naturally. Yes it does hurt, there is no doubt about that. My advice is don't listen to other peoples birth stories and expect yours to be the same. My 2 deliveries were completely different, one hurt more than the other. My point is the pain you will go through is indescribable and you can not explain it to another person. Don't be scared, its an amazing experience and i would give birth daily if it meant i could have those moments where you meet your baby for the the first time, nothing is more precious than that. And guess what? You'll forget all about the pain you just felt and it gradually but quickly disappears. You will be OK, I was 17 when I had my first and 21 with my second baby, age is just a number it does not affect how much something will hurt!!! Take care.

Okay there are alot of people being rude because of your age. I was a young teen mother and I think I turned out fine. I realized I made my mistakes and I live them every day. Childbirth is differant for every pregnancy and every woman. My childrens births hurt alot but I chose to have my babies in a birthing center with no medication. Some private doctors will let you have a c-section by choice. But some insurance companies will not pay for it. The only thing about being 15 is that your hips might not be wide enough for a larger baby. I hope this helps. Good luck!

I think you mean Cesarean. If you are not yet pregnant, wait until you are older, parenting is hard work; do you want to deal with a 15 year old when you are 30?
If you are already pregnant, then it is less painful to give birth by vaginal delivery rather than a C-Section. The reason is that while you may have pain meds for the delivery for a C-section, it is more painful for a C-Section later on. Very few women hurt vaginally more than a few hours later, but when you have abdominal surgery for a C-section, it will hurt for weeks afterwards and that makes taking care of a newborn difficult.
Go for a vaginal delivery.

Yes it hurts, but its worth it. Some doc,'s will let you chose to have a C-section, but in my experience of having both a child with natural labor then 2 c-sections, it's better to go through labor. You lose a very special element with a c-section, and in the end it hurts more than labor and takes longer to heal. As for being 15? Don't worry about it I was only 16, it may be a little more difficult but your body knows what its doing, other wise your body would have not let you get pregnant. Good Luck, and if ya got more questions just IM or e-mail me.

its hurts of course thats obvious u cant choose to have a c-section (usualy for emergancies unless ur victoria beckham!) but there are many different types of ways of having ur baby talk to your mid wife about it. If your parents will let you have it at home its always special that way.but you can have a water birth which doesnt hurt until u get out da water but then stings like hell! there's nautural birth with no drugs which is obviously going to hurt more than if you have the drugs although if your waters break and its past a certain point of labour you can't have drugs so as I sed talk to your midwife about it and she will be able to advise you more on it.If u dont have one yet u shud go and get one(ur mum can help wen u tel her!)But whatever way you decide to have your baby just remember you are going to get a beatiful georgous baby at the end of it. Good luck

it hurts terribly, but you will forget all about it once you hold that little baby! there are lots of pain relief options and you shouldn't feel bad if you take the option of an epidural, I didn't have one but my friend did and she said she didn't feel a thing once it was administered! Also being fifteen (wow, so young!)may mean your pelvis hasn't widened enough for you to give birth naturally and you might be recommended for a C-section but that will need to be decided by a medical consultant, and it may not be the case for you at all. Please make sure you are getting all the info and support you can because you are very, very young and need a supportive sensible adult to help you through this situation.

Yes, you can choose to have a c-section. Natural pregnancy is very painful, but you can also choose to have an epidural that will ease the pain greatly. I did not feel a thing with an epidural. A c-section does take longer to heal after ward's and of course leaves a scar on your belly but many women prefer them now. It's really up to you, a vaginal birth with an epidural is really not bad at all, and you will heal fast also after. Some women do say though when they had an epidural for the second child they still felt pain, and also some still say they feel pain for the first, but I did not feel anything. Birth can take longer with an epidural, because it sometimes can be hard to feel your contractions and know when to push.

Yes, having a baby hurts a lot, but you forget all the pain when you look into your baby's eyes for the first time. You cannot chose c-sections. I had a baby at 16 and another at 21 and altough it took longer to have the first baby, it didnt hurt any more than the one I had at 21. It all hurts, but it is worth it.

You are 15 years old and pregnant? Honey you have a lot more to worry about than a c'section.
Do you want a nasty scar where your bikini line is? Do you want the major surgery involved in a c'section? They sever your muscles in your abdomen. They pull you apart and pull that baby out when all is said and done you have to work your butt off to get back in shape. A lot of times you do not go back into shape. The muscles do not grow back together and you are left nasty pouch near your bikini line that just sags and does not go back to its original shape.
So would you rather have your body beautiful or ugly?
