every time i try 2 kickflip the board goes forwards. what am i doing wrong?

Maybe your front foot isn't off the board enough so you kick it down the middle instead of flicking it.

You aren't flicking your front foot out. Remember-pop, slide your foot, once you get close to the nose, flick it out so the board goes in a circular motion.

Instead of kicking out, you're kicking forward towards the nose to much.

yeah, just focus on flicking and don't kick.
