In my mind, there are 7 legit contenders and I put them in order of their chances of being a #1 seed.
UCLA - #1 in RPI, won the Pac-10, logical choice for the west #1.
Ohio St - ranked #1, only way to lose #1 seed is for them to lose early in the BIg 10 tourney, and Wisc wins the Big 10 tourney.
UNC - good SOS, #1 team in best conference, needs to finish first in ACC or win ACC tourney to lock up #1.
Florida - #1 in SEC, needs to win conference tourney.
Kansas - #1 in Big 12, needs to win conference tourney.
Wisc - needs to win conference tourney.
Texas A&M - needs to win conference tourney and hope all the others lose early in their respective conference tournaments.

Just for your information, the region is based on where they will play, not where the team is from, so UNC could get the west #1 while UCLA gets the south #1 or something like that.
Wisconsin won't get one after their recent losses.
Kansas needs to win the conference tourney, which they wont... agreed.
Texas A&M needs to win the conference tourney, but I disagree about needing the others to lose...
UNC will not get a 1 seed unless they win the conference tourney and have A&M lose.
Florida is a lock.
Ohio St is a lock.
UCLA is a lock.
My #1 seeds are Florida, Ohio St, UCLA, and Texas A&M.
#2 seeds are Georgetown, UNC, Wisconsin, and Kansas.

certainly the main predictable. i've got concept for years that it may be great to get all precise seeds to the suited 4...yet after in fact seeing it take place this twelve months, i'm no longer so advantageous now... if the two communities are waiting to play, then yeah, having all precise seeds there could be great... yet while one team is off, the different is frequently so stable that a rout frequently ensues. i've got enjoyed different tournaments extra advantageous than the previous couple... this is often impressive while the championship recreation is going all the way down to the twine, which hasn't befell the final couple of years, with the Gators dominating UCLA and Ohio State.

UNC is not going to be a #1 seed. MY TERPS JUST DENIED THEM THAT RIGHT WITH A HUGE WIN OVER THEM SUNDAY!!!!!! But here are your official top four seeds in the NCAA tourney.
Florida
Kansas
UCLA
Wisonsin
All of those teams are currently ranked within the top 5 and Ohio State is not up there becaues Wisconsin is going to take their spot by winning their confrence tourney.

now that wisconsin has lost twice and unc once, they are probably both out of contention for a number one... right now i think the following four will get number ones:
ohio state...obviously they are the number one team in the nation, if they win their last two regular season games they will probably be a number one no matter what
florida...even though they have lost 2 of their last 3, they will get a number one if they win their last two and then get to the finals of the sec tournament
ucla...they are pretty much a lock, unless they lose their final two games at washington and at washington state(not completely impossible, but unlikely), and even then they might still get a #1
kansas/texas a&m/wisconsin...if wisconsin runs the table, and most especially if they beat ohio state, they will get the final #1...if they don't do that and one of the jayhawks or aggies does run the table, they will get that #1...if somehow neither kansas nor a&m wins the big 12 tourney, then unc might get that spot, who knows...it's a muddled picture right now

all those teams don't have to win their confrence. most do but UCLA and UNC don't. they've both proven they're good teams.
