Myxozoa. It's microscopic, and still falls into the kingdom animalia. As it is the only single cell organism classified as an animal, it is the smallest animal in the world.

Edit: Zooplankton is actually a diverse group of critters, ranging from tiny mollusks to larval crabs. Most people assume it's some sort of one celled plankton animal, but it isn't. It's the group of critters which float around on ocean currents...

It still holds true that the myxozoa is the ONLY single celled organism in the kingdom animalia.

It would be protozoans, but technically they aren't classified as an animal anymore, so the smallest animal would be the Megaphragma caribea which is only 0.17mm long.

Any species of zoo plankton. They eat plant plankton and float around in water- are microscopic.

If you mean mammals, the pygmy shrew or a species of bat is tied for smallest mammal.

some kind of monkey i think but the smallest organism in the world would be bacteria and stuff like that

I think it's the pygmy shrew. It is so small it weighs as much as a penny.
