Settlement days?

I have a quick question If its takes 3 business days to settle a sale of a stock and I sold today will today count as a business day?

It is T+3, so Friday will be the settlement date, in the absence of exceptions.

If today is trade date (T), sale will settle on T+3. So if you sold on Tuesday, trade will settle on Friday.

If it was before 4:00pm EST, then I'd say yes based on the information you've given.
