That's up to you. If you are comfortable sleeping with a stuffed animal, then that's your prerogative and no one else's.

The only time you "should" stop sleeping with a stuffed animal is when doing so interferes with your sleep or keeps you from doing something you want to do (like go on a sleepover). Otherwise, there's no harm in sleeping with a stuffed animal your whole life if you want to. It's your choice.

Stop when you want to. But if it's becoming a problem, like you CAN'T sleep without it, at all. Then maybe you should try to sleep without it from time to time. If you're concerned about it, try phasing it out slowly. Start sleeping with it on the bed, but not holding it. Then try on the night stand, or on the floor next to the bed. Eventually it just won't be important, but until then, sleep well.
