Since Yahoo decided to not offer an IR (Injured Reserve positions) without telling us this year thats a huge position to have sitting on the bench doing absolutely nothing. There is not much of the fantasy season left and depending on who your other center is, if he cant carry the load for blocks and rebounds than dump him and pick up someone else. Also if your league doesn't limit the amount of transactions you can do you can use that spot on your roster to pick up and drop guys its called rotating so that the number of players you have per week goes up! Great strategy if no one else in your league is doing it because there will be plenty of guys that arent on waivers for you to steel! Good Luck!

According to Van Gundy, the timetable on Yao's injury is questionable because of how poorly he is reacting to his braces. This doesn't mean you should drop him though. He will definitely be back and fully healthy at least a week or two before the playoffs, and would be crucial in a championship run. If you're on the outside of the playoff picture looking in, you might be able to buy low on Marcus Camby (recently struggling) and attain another player to upgrade whatever weak points your roster might have.

If your first I would say hold on to him. He is recovering Ok. apparantely his knee braces are not working to well, but I'll bet he's back for your playoffs. I can't Imagine dropping him especially if you've had him this long.
Bynum is likely to drop off once Kwame Brown and Luke Walton come back. I might look @ a shooter or even Nene.

You Should have dropped him a month ago hes been getting you 00000000 for almost two months. Don't drop him now try to get a trade out of him. If you cant get a trade drop him right away because he is a very slow recover-er and i think he will be out another month so drop him.

Yao is recovering nicely, and according to the Beijing news, he will be back to playing.
He`s a big man, very strong, He will be back of at all possible.
The team will suck without him.

keep him, I have him too and my other centers are nene, okafor, diaw, varejao, boozer. My numbers are down but i'll survive in 3rd place
im also getting offers for him like jason kidd, so he does have value even if he gave me 0's for 3 months

does your league lock on march 8? to the best of my knowledge, that is only the trade deadline. if so, only drop him right before the deadline so no one else picks him up for the stretch run. i wouldn't drop him though - he will be valuable in the playoffs.

if you're struggling you might be able to trade him for a guy like Nene or Haslem who will get you moderate numbers......if you're doing okay it might be worth hanging on to him just in case....if he's healthy he'll put up MVP type numbers.
