Who's the better actor Eddie Murphy, Jim Carrey, or Will Smith?

Man that's a tough one. If you want to talk box office, it's hands down Eddie with his films grossing over 2 billion dollars. If you want to go with acting range it's got to be Carey. He's probably the best of the three at going to both ends of the spectrum (dramatic and comedy). Likeability wise it would be Will and of course he's got the ladies market cornered. But if I have to make a choice I would go with Will. I an Eddie Murphy fan for life, but Will is close on his heels in all time box office numbers and will always put butts in the seats becuase he's capable of pulling off roles in so many different genres of film.

I'd say Jim Carey, then Smith, then Murphy.

I'd give it to Carey just based on the number of roles he's done. But Smith in Happyness was better than anything Carey has ever done.

Depedning on the movie......if a comedy then Eddie Murhphy...if a drama or suspense then Will Smith. I can't see Jim Carey in anything other than a comedy that doesn't have a real storyline.

None! Each only had one defining role (Beverly Hills Cop, The Truman Show, Ali) , and has never been able to do it again. I wouldnt choose any of them cause none are better than the other 2.
However, If I had a gun on my head and had to choose between these three or death, I'll choose... umm...ugh... Eddie Murphy?? but then he made that Pluto Nash movie.. OK, I'll stick with Eddie Murphy cause I liked him in 'Coming to America'.

will smith, he's funny and cool. jim carey is creepy and ugly, and eddie murphy is funny, but nothing else
